Alagoinhas is a Brazilian municipality in the state of Bahia. Its area is 718,089 square kilometers and its population counts in 2015 with 154 495 inhabitants, having therefore a demographic density of 195.46 inhabitants per square kilometer. It is limited to the north with the municipality of Inhambupe, to the south with the municipality of Catu, to the east with the municipality of Araças, to the west with the municipality of Aramari, to the northeast with the municipality of Entre Rios and to the southwest with the municipality of Teodoro Sampaio.
